ITI & FIT Europe round table meeting on governance

28 to 28 April 2012

London, venue tbc

Please see the link below for the Call for Papers for a round table that the Institute of Translation & Interpreting is staging in conjunction with FIT Europe next April 28, in London. The topic is "Professionalising your Association" and the objective for the day will be to establish ways in which we can make our approach to managing our associations more professional. We aim to have around four presentations in the morning, and then to widen out the discussion to the whole group in the afternoon.

The day before the round table, Friday 27 April, ITI is hosting a meeting of the FIT Europe Steering Committee, and we hope that Steering Committee members will also be able to join us at the round table.

Details about the venue and potential accommodation options will be provided shortly, but in the meantime you can subscribe to the event's website at the link below.

Please share this call for papers with your associations' governing bodies - I'm sure that there are many great examples of extremely professional management and this opportunity to share our experiences should not be missed! Many thanks & all the best Iwan Davies Vice-Chair of Council of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting, United Kingdom.
