The Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) has around 3,000 professional freelance, language services businesses and educational establishment members worldwide, and is one of the primary sources of information on language services for government, industry, the media and the general public. ITI promotes the highest standards in the profession and plays a key role in helping UK industry and commerce sell its products overseas. Our industry journal, ITI Bulletin, is published bi-monthly and has an estimated readership of 7,000. Both informative and entertaining, ITI Bulletin has a broad scope, and contains articles relating to all aspects of translation and interpreting. Recent issues have included advice on marketing yourself, finding the right CAT tool, translating poetry, working with agencies and legal liability for translations. Each edition also includes news on upcoming ITI events, including conferences and workshops, and informative reviews assessing the latest translation software, books and dictionaries.
